Pricing Policy and Warranty for Rework Sub-Assemblies and PCB's
ATM Part Rework Pricing Policy
This pricing policy contains information on covered ATM products and models.
The price of rework listed in our Rework Price Sheet
covers all parts and labor needed to repair the described assemblies except as noted. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Before shipping parts for rework, customers are required to contact ACT at 1
(800) 899-0110 or (937) 743-3280 to receive an RMA Number.
This number is used to track repairs throughout the complete process. ACT
will not accept any products for rework without prior authorization and an
appropriate RMA #.
All parts or assemblies received at ACT for rework shall be inspected to
determine that the part or assembly is complete and has not been damaged in
shipment. This inspection shall also verify that the parts or assemblies
received do not have damage which is not covered by ACT's rework policy. Should
there be apparent damage to uncovered parts the customer would be then contacted
before further testing and repair is started. In the event of shipping damage
ACT will return the part or assembly to the customer, freight collect. ACT
reserves the right to reject any freight showing apparent damage.
Customers requesting bench testing on Sub-Assemblies and/or PCB's shall be
charged a $50.00 testing fee. This fee includes diagnostic testing and labeling
with complete results. The testing fee may be deducted from the final cost of
repairs to the part tested if the customer authorizes ACT to perform these
repairs.
ATM Part Rework Warranty
ACT warrants parts and labor on repairs for a period of 30 days from the date
the product is shipped back to the customer by ACT, NOT the day the repaired
product is received by the customer. No exceptions. The customer is responsible
for determining any failure due to a repair made by ACT on or before the 30th
day following shipping. ACT must be notified of warranty claims for rework on or
before the lapse of the warranty period.
